Bringing Together Two Worlds

In 2008, in the village of Jukkasjärvi, Elin and Andreas met while working at the Icehotel. Elin was returning for her third season, known for her calm presence and discretion while hosting high-end guests.

Andreas was leading river adventures, where his love for nature and storytelling began to take root. That was the beginning of a partnership shaped by contrast, experience, and shared vision.

Andreas spent over a decade at the Icehotel before moving to Lapland Resorts, managing iconic ski destinations like Björkliden and Riksgränsen.
With a strong grasp of sales and operations, he brought strategic thinking and creativity that led to significant growth in international markets.

Elin’s path combined tourism with public service. After years in law enforcement and youth engagement, she returned to tourism with a human-first lens.

In 2022, she founded one of Sweden’s first female-led sauna experiences — blending ritual, wellbeing, and reconnection long before sauna culture became a trend.

By 2025, Nordic Connect Travel was born.

With complementary strengths and a shared intuition for what moves people — emotionally and commercially — the idea had been brewing since 2008 in a red kitchen in Jukkasjärvi.
